Göteborgs Översättargrupp (The Göteborg Translator Group) consists of
nine professional translators with extensive experience in the field of
media translation.
Our specialty is the subtitling of television programs and feature films for
broadcasting applications as well as for the video and DVD markets. .

Over the years, we have delivered material to a wide range of customers such as Canal+, TV3, TV4, TV8, TV1000, SVT, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, National Geographic, History Channel, Hallmark, Fox Kids and Nickelodeon.
Promotional and educational films for corporations, schools and societies comprise another market we
know well, one that includes speaker scripts, full script translations and/or versioning.
In addition to media translation, we also review, edit and proofread all kinds of written material and translate
abstracts, advertising copy, articles for publication, instruction manuals, film treatments, etc.
The Group's main target language is Swedish, and we deal primarily with material in the following source languages:
Danish, English, French, Hungarian, Italian, Norwegian and Spanish.
We are also able to accommodate translation projects from Swedish into English.
